No great work of art (or actually any work of art) here, but it does tell a story. After three days of being cooped up in the house with the flu, even a trip to Target seems like a grand adventure. I’m feeling so much better and by tomorrow hope to be pretty much mended. After that, I’ll start looking for some good pictures again. ;)
[Read More]After three days, I’m finally starting to recover. This is one old acquaintance I won’t be sad to see the last of. However, being sick and slowly recovering at the end of the year really isn’t a bad thing. It gives you such great promise for the beginning of the new year that you can’t help but have hope for better things.

My dear friend Iva is back in town for a short trip. I always look forward to catching up with this remarkable, adventuresome woman. We spent a wonderful lunch of Pho catching up on work adventures, relationships, hobbies and Soviet product design.

So I skipped the worst of a cold last week only to come down with a bad case of the flu this week. The worst of it is that this is the first year in many that I didn’t get a flu shot. I guess I tempted fate once too often.
So for now, I am spending my time sleeping between doses of medicine.
