An uneventful day to be sure, in fact almost all of it was spent sound asleep. It had been a long week so I celebrated a bit last night with Andy and Lisa. Went to one of the great music joints of the world, Danny’s Blues Saloon. This place looks like the movie set of every roadhouse bar scene. Rough wood walls and floors surrounding a large dance floor filled with the gyrations of some of OKC’s eclectic night life. The band was Scott Keaton and the Deviants and they were hot with their standard cross of rockabilly, Texas blues and classic rock and roll. I had a few more than usual drinks and actually asked a woman to dance. God, it’s been a long time since I’ve done that. Nothing came of it, but was good to feel like I had a youthful life again.

Gosh, I’m forgetting everything. You may have noticed the Random Picture of the Day postings. I have a lot of pictures that don’t really fit in any sort of gallery so I’ve started posting them into the blog. Every month, I’ll gather them into a full gallery posting.
