Grace always gets me the best gifts. This year for Valentine’s Day I got a “genius” shirt (maybe overstating my case a little bit). Next she surprised me with some sugru (sugru.com), the newest hacking miracle substance for which I already have a million ideas on how to use it. Finally I received a bamboo plant which is probably hardy enough to survive my complete lack of a green thumb.

I almost never do this these days, but tonight a bunch of guys from work went out for some beer and an action film. I guess my “guy” gauge was running a bit low. I feel much more refreshed. ;)
It’s a sign that I am not riding enough in that I am spending a lot of time and money filling up.

I really needed to get out of the office for a lunch this week, so I made a break for it when no one was looking.
Grace and I made an invasion across enemy lines into that dark place known as the mall. Actually, we had a great date night of sushi and a movie. The movie was The Artist which most of America has probably already seen, but I finally got a chance to see it now.
I must admit that this is really a pretty awful picture. However, I was really feeling some sympathy for the poor person who has to line up and put all of these “on sale” stickers on the freezer doors.
