Yes, I know it a lake scenery shot and I am trying to avoid these. However, it is a different lake from my last few and it was such a pretty sunrise that I just couldn’t resist.

So I’m slowly starting to realize that this is going to be a tougher project than I had first expected.  I’m not giving up by any means, but I’m realizing that I don’t have much variety in my scenery on a daily basis.  Most of my day is spent with the view above and I don’t want to revert to lake scenery pictures from my commute everyday.  It really is going to be a fun challenge to look deeper at my every day surroundings and find more details to capture.

It is taking more than a little effort to get over these wild beasts that now reside in my house. They appear out of nowhere and always seem to have definite but inscrutable plans.

After a long and frantic day at the office, like today was, there are some tough choices to make when one gets home.

We are doing a lot of fall cleaning around the house and I have discovered that I have amassed enough tools and bike parts to make a modest home bike shop. Plus I have two project bikes, a classic Schwinn that needs some basic tuning and my old Cannondale which needs a frame up rebuild. Both perfect winter projects. Now I just need to get the underutilized garage whipped into shape.

I haven’t had dim sum in a long time so it was a wonderful way to kick off a productive Sunday.

After a long day of vet visits and litter box installations, the only thing left to do is to party . . .

On a cold wet morning, especially after a bicycle ride, there is almost nothing better than a nice hot cup of coffee . . .

So, it isn’t another lake picture, but it is another zeppelin picture. But how often do you get to see a zeppelin anyway? I caught this shot as I came around Wiley Post airport on my ride into work. It is quite a spectacle though I didn’t get any pictures about which I was particularly pleased.

Last of the Lake Hefner pictures for a while, but the lake does figure a lot into my day-to-day life.  One of the best parts of my day is my cool off from the ride into work.  This is the view I get to enjoy as I get ready to get down to work . . .
